Section 162 - Issuing or signing false evidence.

Whoever issues or signs a certificate required by law to be given or signed or relating to a fact of which the certificate is legally admissible in evidence knowing or believing that the certificate is false in a material point, shall be punished in the same manner as if he gave false evidence.
