Section 357 - Joint liability for lurking house trespass or house breaking by night where death or grievous hurt caused.

If at the time of the committing of lurking house trespass by night or house breaking by night a person guilty of that offence voluntarily causes or attempts to cause death or grievous hurt to a person, every person jointly con-cerned in committing that lurking house trespass by night or house breaking by night shall be punished with imprisonment for life or a less term and shall also be liable to fine.
