Section 120 - Offering or giving valuable thing without consideration.

Whoever in any of the circumstances mentioned in section 119 of this Penal Code offers or gives or agrees to give to a public officer or to any per-g son, in whom a public officer is interested or to whom he is related, a valuable thing without consideration or for a consideration which he knows to be inadequate, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or with both.
