Section 207 - Ill-treatment of domestic animals.

Whoever cruelly beats, tortures or otherwise wilfully ill-treats any lame or domestic animal or any wild animal which has previously been deprived of its liberty or arranges, promotes or organises fights between cocks, rams or other domestic animals shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with a fine, which may extend to one thousand naira or with both
