Section 208 - Over-riding and neglect of animal.

Whoever wantonly over-rides, over-drives or over-loads any animal or wantonly employs any animal, which by reason of age, sickness, wounds or infirmity is not in a condition to work, or neglects any animal in such a manner us to cause it unnecessary suffering, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with a fine which may extend to two thousand naira or with both.
